1. Our team is responsible to provide services in accordance with the information displayed on our website and to do our best for your comfortable and pleasant stay. In case of bad weather, absence of waves or other natural factors that don’t depend on us, we’ll try to propose alternative recreational activities. Keep in mind that the ocean is a force of nature, and that despite historic trends and modern forecasting science, we can’t control waves or guarantee certain conditions on any particular day. It’s important to respect the waves in all their forms and to recognise that some days will be too big, some days will be too small, and some days will be perfect.
2. To make a reservation of surf lessons or accommodation it is necessary to make an advance payment of 15% of the total cost.
3. Reservation cancellation
3.1. If you cancel your booking of the surf lessons after the advance payment was made, money is not returned. However, this deposit remains valid within 1 year from the date of payment for your reservations with us.
3.2. If you cancel your accommodation booking the deposit can be refunded as follows:
booking cancellation 2 months prior to arrival - 100% full refund;
booking cancellation 1 month prior to arrival - 50% of deposit is refunded;
booking cancellation within 30 days prior to arrival - deposit is not returned.
3.3. All expenses arising from the return of the money (bank commissions etc.) are deducted from the amount of the credit to be returned.
4.1. We will not disclose your personal data, including your e-mail, to third parties. However, we reserve the right to send you the information about our current promotions and offers by e-mail in the future.
5.1. We are not responsible for any loss or theft of your personal belongings at the places of your lodging or on the territory of our surf school. If you stay at the house on the territory of our surf camp and share your room with others, that would mean your respectful attitude towards them.
5.2. It’s forbidden to smoke indoors according to the Portuguese law.
5.3. You are obliged to reimburse for any loss or damage to the property.
5.4. In case of violation of conduct rules we reserve the right to stop rendering of our services and to require that you vacate accommodation without any compensation.
5.5. For the bookings of private apartments/cottages the minimum accommodation is 4 days.
5.6. Check-in starts from 16 p.m., check-out is until 10 a.m.
6. Surf lessons
6.1. The meeting place for all Silver Coast students is a surf school reception.
6.2. Stick to the schedule and don’t be late for your surf lessons. In case of your non-appearance at the meeting point for departure to the surf spots on time, missed lessons won’t be reimbursed.
6.3. If you book several days of surfing it is assumed that those are consecutive days. But, if that is not the case, we must be informed in advance. Also, if you decide to skip any day of surfing you must inform us beforehand. In case of not informing us about your will to skip surf lessons in 24 hours before they start that lessons need to be paid.
6.4. Follow the advices of your instructor and obey water safety rules that you will be told about.
6.5. The sports insurance is provided for every registered student of our surf school and covers medical expenses due to accidents that may occur only during our surf lessons.
6.6. Surfboards and wetsuits that we provide for the classes are for use only during the surf classes. If you want to surf more, you can always hire surfing equipment from us.
6.7. Surf equipment (surfboard, wetsuit and lycra) that we provide for the classes are for use only during the surf classes.
6.8. Surfboard, wetsuit and lycra should be returned clean of sand. It is strongly prohibited to pee inside the wetsuit.
7. Equipment rentals
7.1. Damage or loss of the surfing equipment during the rental period is entirely your responsibility.
7.2. You may rent the equipment from 9:00 to 18:00. In order to rent the equipment you need to provide your passport or other identity document, and fill in the requisite form.
7.3. Surfboards and wetsuits should be returned clean of sand and with the leash tightly wrapped around the tail of the surfboard when returned.
7.4. If the rented equipment is damaged or lost then reimbursement will be calculated as follows:

7.5. The damage refers to any holes, cuts, chips, dings etc., that have been revealed on any part of a surfboard (including fins and a leash) or a wetsuit.
7.6. The total loss refers to equipment damaged beyond repair and/or unacceptable for further use.
8.1. Our transfer service can be requested not later than 24 hours and is considered confirmed if you received our e-mail with confirmation.
8.2. The transfer can be cancelled not later than 24 hours.
8.3. In case of big amount of luggage (over 30 kg per person) or its non-standard size, you should let us know beforehand. Otherwise, the transfer service can be refused to you on-site with payment request of 100% of the transfer price.
8.4. The driver will be waiting for you at the Lisbon airport arrivals hall at the meeting point at the indicated time.
8.5. We reserve the right to refuse the transfer service with payment request of 100% of the transfer price, if a passenger shows inadequate behaviour caused by alcohol or other drugs.
